Introduction
VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) is a technology that allows you to make and receive regular phone calls using a Wi-Fi connection instead of traditional cellular networks. Think of it as a lifeline when you're in areas with poor cellular coverage but have access to Wi-Fi. When enabled, your phone automatically switches to Wi-Fi for calls whenever wifi is available, especially useful in buildings with thick walls, basement offices, or areas with limited network coverage. Unlike internet calling apps (such as WhatsApp or Skype), VoWiFi integrates directly with your phone's native calling system - you don't need a separate app, and people calling you won't know the difference. It uses your regular phone number and works seamlessly with your carrier's network, making it an invaluable feature for reliable communication in today's connected world.
Problem
Many users, including myself, are experiencing a complete inability to use Jazz VoWiFi on Stormfiber connections. This widespread issue has persisted for over a month with no resolution in sight. Despite multiple reports, both providers remain uncoordinated and unresponsive.
Technical Details

The following endpoints are currently unreachable (only from Stormfiber/Cybernet):
- epdg.epc.mnc007.mcc410.pub.3gppnetwork.org
- epdg.epc.mnc001.mcc410.pub.3gppnetwork.org
- IP: 119.160.95.248
My theory is that either Jazz is blocking Stormfiber IPs or Stormfiber (Cybernet) is blocking Jazz (or all) VoWiFi endpoints. This is causing the VoWiFi service to fail on Stormfiber connections. Note that VoWiFi also uses IPsec VPN for security and encryption, so it's possible that the IPsec traffic is being blocked by Stormfiber's firewall.
You can ping/traceroute the above endpoints using different ISPs. You will see that these endpoints are only unreachable from Stormfiber/Cybernet connections. I have personally verified that VoWiFi works perfectly on other ISPs (e.g., Transworld). As per reports, it also works on PTCL, Nayatel, and other ISPs.
The Response (or Lack Thereof)
- Stormfiber: Acknowledged the issue but has gone MIA — no updates, no ETA.
- Jazz: Denial or silence, ignoring clear technical evidence provided by users.
